As of 17:00, the situation in the eastern border zone of the Republic of Armenia, where the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were launching an attack today, continues to be extremely tense. The intensity of the fighting has not decreased, the Ministry of Defense reports.
The enemy continues to use artillery, armored vehicles, and firearms of different calibers.
As a result of the retaliatory actions of the Armenian side, the enemy has a large number of personnel losses, about a dozen units of armored vehicles have been destroyed or taken out of service. The Armenian side also has losses. The data is being verified. 12 servicemen of the RA Armed Forces – 7 contractual and 5 conscripts were captured. The Ministry of Defense will continue to make regular statements on the situation.
