The President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia is paying an official visit to Armenia at the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan

A delegation led by the President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Merab Turava arrived in Armenia on an official visit on 4 November at the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan.

The Constitutional Court reported.

The objective of the visit is to give a qualitatively new impetus to the further development of bilateral relations, as well as to promote the deepening of bilateral-multilateral inter-court cooperation.

Within the framework of the official visit, a private conversation will take place between the Presidents of the Constitutional Courts of the Republic of Armenia and Georgia, professional discussions in extended formations, as well as meetings with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Prime Minister.

The private conversation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia Arman Dilanyan and the President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Merab Turava has already taken place.

Welcoming his Georgian counterpart, Arman Dilanyan praised the long-standing cooperation between the Constitutional Courts of Armenia and Georgia, and expressed hope that the official visit would breathe new life into bilateral relations.

In his turn, Merab Turava thanked for the warm reception of the invitation to pay an official visit, noting that the centuries-old Armenian-Georgian friendship creates fertile ground for strengthening the legal ties between the constitutional courts of the two countries.

The parties expressed readiness to continue high-level contacts on all issues of the bilateral agenda and to consider the implementation of joint regional programs.
