Aghvan Hovsepyan’s detention term has been extended for 2 months; The decision will be appealed: Lawyer

The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan extended the term of detention of Aghvan Hovsepyan, former Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the Investigation Committee of the Republic of Armenia, by 2 months.

Lawyer Erik Aleksanyan informed Iravaban.net.

“I am familiar with the decision, it is obviously an illegal decision, of course, we are going to appeal that decision,” the lawyer said.
