Machine gunner Grigor Davtyan was killed on 15 October in the battles for the defense of the homeland. An event dedicated to his memory was organized in Nor Kharberd. The hero’s relatives, military friends, the hero’s parents, the Community Head and others were present.
The hero had said that if necessary he would defend his homeland at the cost of his life. Grigor did not break his oath. The khachkar (cross stone) immortalizing his memory will remind his heroism and that of the other martyred boys.
Grigor’s comrades-in-arms said that he was not afraid of anything, he fought a fierce battle against the enemy just from the front line.
