“Dear compatriots,

Yesterday in the city of Etchmiadzin I was present at the unveiling of the monument to Samvel Ghazaryan, who was heroically martyred in the 44-day Artsakh war and was awarded the highest title of “Hero of Artsakh”, and his brother Narek, Knight of the ” The second-class Order of the Combat Cross”.

For millennia we have fought for our continuity, our faith and our right to live with dignity in our homeland; this war was a continuation of that.

I have mentioned many times that it was our next Avarayr. We lost our military success, the war had an unacceptable end for us, but we gained the right to survive, to continue the struggle, to build a country, to remain a Christian Armenian, thanks to Samvel, Narek, thousands of our sons.”
