“Considering that the issues included in today’s agenda are first of all clearly and visibly political; strictly political, and aim to remove unwanted local self-government bodies, we by joining the proposals voiced by the “Armenia” Faction”, the “I have Honor” Faction will not participate in the discussion of this issue either.” Hayk Mamijanyan said this today, on 24 September, during the special sitting of the National Assembly.

After his speech, the deputies of the “I have honor” and “Armenia” factions left the session hall.

It should be noted that today, on 24 September, on the initiative of the Government, the National Assembly convened a special sitting. The agenda includes amendments and additions to the Law on Administrative Territorial Division of the Republic of Armenia and amendments to the Law on Anti-Corruption Committee.

Artsvik Minasyan said that they will not participate in the discussion, as in their estimation the issues are illegal.
