By the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on 15 September, Sergey Atomyan was relieved of the post of Deputy Governor of Ararat Region of the Republic of Armenia and appointed to another post.
“Pursuant to Article 9, Part 7 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Public Service”, to appoint Sergey Atomyan Head of the Penitentiary Service,” the decision reads.
It should be noted that on 3 September, Arthur Goyunyan was relieved of the post of acting Head of the Penitentiary Service.
