On 6 September President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan met with Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Khovayev in Yerevan.

The Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President reported.

The President wished success to the Russian Co-Chair in his appointment to the new post, emphasizing that Artsakh remains committed to continuing the negotiation process within the OSCE Minsk Group. Various issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict were discussed, as well as the importance of the Co-Chairs’ upcoming visit to the region.

President Harutyunyan emphasized the importance of the Russian peacekeeping mission in the region in maintaining peace and stability.
