On August 31, 22 fire-rescuers are carrying out fire-fighting works in the area of Kut village.

Two operative groups of the regional rescue department of the Emergency Situations Ministry and one fire brigade from the fire-rescue detachments also left for the scene.
The north-eastern hotbed of the fire was isolated at 21:20, the south-eastern one at 23:24.
According to preliminary data, about 150 hectares of dry grass burned in the north-eastern part and about 40 hectares in the south-eastern part.
It should be reminded that on 30 August, at 16:27, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received information that a grass cover was burning in Kut village.

A site inspection was carried out. It turned out that the fire has two directions of spreading: south-east and north-east.
26 fire-rescuers took part in the fire-fighting works.
The south-eastern hotbed of the fire was isolated at 22:48, extinguished at 23:18. About 40 hectares of grass burned.
About 20 hectares of the north-eastern part have been self-extinguished, and about 30 hectares are burning on the top of the mountain. Duty has been established.
