By the decision of Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, the “Erebuni-Yerevan” celebrations scheduled for October will not be held.

The spokesman of the mayor of Yerevan Hakob Karapetyan reported.

“The financial means provided for “Erebuni-Yerevan” from the 2021 budget of the city of Yerevan will be directed to the support of the “100 houses in Artsakh” program, as well as to the programs of development of Yerevan cultural institutions. In particular, funds will be allocated for the modernization programs of the Erebuni Historical-Archaeological Reserve-Museum and the Yerevan History Museum celebrating its 90th anniversary,” he noted.
