On the night of 12 August, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces tried to cross the line of contact between the Artsakh and Azerbaijani armed forces in the western part of the Artsakh Republic. As a result of the counter-actions of the Defense Army, the attempt was prevented; the enemy was thrown back to the original positions. There are no losses from the Armenian side.
The Artsakh Defense Army reported.
The command of the Russian military group carrying out a peacekeeping mission in the Artsakh Republic was immediately informed about the provocation of the Azerbaijani side.
It should be reminded that on 11 August; the Defense Army issued a statement stating that at 08:29 and 08:58, the enemy used strike drones in the direction of the Defense Army positions.
The Armenian side did not suffer any losses.
