The firefighters of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations isolated the fire that broke out in the border section between Azerbaijan and Agarak village, of Syunik region.
“On 9 August, at 13:02, the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center received an alarm that a fire had broken out again in the border part of the village of Agarak, and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Three fire brigades from the fire-rescue detachment of the regional rescue department of the Emergency Situations Ministry and one water carrier of “Azhdanak” LLC left for the scene,
The fire was isolated at 21:23. “About 10 hectares of vegetation have burned,” the message reads.
The RA Ministry of Emergency Situations also reminds that on 8 August, a fire broke out in the same area, which was also extinguished. 6 hectares of vegetation burned, 4 hectares of which are on the Armenian side.
