As a result of an accident on the Gyumri-Yerevan highway, a serviceman of the Russian base in Armenia was killed, four more were wounded, the press service of the Southern Military District reported, RIA Novosti informs.

“The accident occurred on Sunday at about 7 am in the area of ​​the village of Talin. According to preliminary data, the soldier lost control of his personal car, the car overturned into a ditch.

One contract serviceman died on the spot from injuries. Four contract servicemen who were in the car during the accident, with moderate injuries, were promptly taken to a hospital, where they were provided with all the necessary medical care.”
