The secretary of the “Civil Contract” faction Hayk Konjoryan informed that Alen Simonyan was nominated as a candidate for the NA President.

The head of the “Armenia” faction Seyran Ohanyan said that they had nominated Mkhitar Zakaryan.

Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the “I have Honor” faction, mentioned that they had nominated Arthur Sargsyan.

It should be noted that Mkhitar Zakaryan and Arthur Sargsyan are currently under arrest.

Member of the “Armenia” faction Artsvik Minasyan introduced their candidate, Mkhitar Zakaryan, emphasizing the fact that he is in prison.

“Our struggle is fundamental, because we are dealing with a person who, from the first day of the 44-day conspiratorial war, stood at the borders, stood in Artsakh, stood on the front line of the defense of the homeland. And now it turns out that the one standing on the front line of the defense of the homeland is in prison, those accused of many episodes in the conspiratorial war are in freedom. “Moreover, they control or they decide the future or destiny of our homeland,” he said.
