President of the Freedom of Information Center Shushan Doydoyan wrote on her Facebook page:

“A few days ago, the Luxembourg National Commission for Personal Data Protection decided to fine Amazon Europe Core, claiming that Amazon’s processing of citizens’ personal data does not comply with the general EU data protection regulations.

According to the decision, Amazon will have to pay a fine of 746 million Euros and reconsider its practice.”
