Berd community municipality informs, that Private Davit Garnik Kocharyan who died today, on July 28, while resisting a provocation by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, was from the village of Chinchin of the Berd community, a participant in the 44-day Artsakh war.
“We mourn with Davit Kocharyan’s parents, relatives, fellow villagers, all of us, for the irreversible, extremely dear loss. Relentless grief is for all of us.
Sleep in peace, dear David, eternal traveler.
Your bright name will forever be etched in our hearts. We bow,” the statement said.
The Civic Youth Center published an interview with David last year, noting that the young man was Chinchin’s only graduate in 2020.
