Today, on 14 July, in the Constitutional Court, it is already the 6th day that the examination of the applications for disputing the results of the 20 June extraordinary elections continues.

The parties make final speeches. After the final speech of the representative of “I have Honour” Davit Harutyunyan the Chairman of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan commented stating:

“From human point of view, I understand the tactics you have chosen, From human point of view, I understand your attempts to discredit the Constitutional Court, thus discrediting the future decision of the Constitutional Court. From human point of view, I understand that tactic, but I do not accept it, it is condemnable for me.

The trial in this High Court is not for the satisfaction of interests or separate suspicions, the examination of this type of case in the Constitutional Court is not aimed at dispelling suspicions or assumptions about individual facts, here the dispute over the election decision where almost one million three hundred thousand citizens of the Republic participated is considered. During the organization and conduct of the elections, legal relations were formed, in which thousands of subjects participate,” Arman Dilanyan said.
