“I do not think there was a need for a detailed explanation, I did not feel the need. After all, these people are representatives of the structures working under the direct subordination of the Prime Minister. It is logical that the head chooses who to work with,” Vahan Kerobyan, the acting Minister of Economy said in a briefing with reporters.
He noted that the Prime Minister said that he highly appreciated the work done by the former chairman of the Investigative Committee, Hayk Grigoryan.
“We will continue to discuss with him the formats of further cooperation. There was an offer, which no one opposed,” Vahan Kerobyan said.
It should be noted that today, on 12 July, the government convened a closed session, during which a decision was made to relieve the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan and appoint Argishti Kyaramyan Chairman of the IC.
