Men dancing on the wall of the Armenian “Surb Tagavor” (Holy King) church in Istanbul’s Kadıköy administrative district have been arrested. RIA Novosti reported.
“The three citizens who took part in that incident have been arrested. An investigation has been launched. “We condemn this heinous act against the sanctuaries,” the statement said.
Earlier we had reported that the Armenian “Surb Tagavor” (Holy King) church in Istanbul was desecrated. We learn about this from a video released by Turkish MP Garo Paylan.
He wrote next to the video.
“I condemn those who did not respect and gave in to the desecration of the church. The police of the Turkish Interior Ministry must deal with this case immediately,” he said.
