The National Assembly of the 7th convocation convened a special sitting today, on 30 June.

During the exchange of views, Naira Zohrabyan said that their PACE delegation had just returned; she had a private conversation with the head of the Azerbaijani delegation Samed Seydov.

“Azerbaijan’s position remains intolerable. Azerbaijan continues to deny that the captives are prisoners of war. He clearly stated that there may be a discussion with the Armenian side on the return of the captives if Armenia recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, of course, including 75% of the occupied territory of Artsakh,” the NA deputy noted.

She urged the National Assembly of the 7th convocation to submit applications to international organizations to impose sanctions on Azerbaijan.
