On June 28, 2021, from 11:02 am to 11:04 am, a person who apparently committed a crime entered the branch of “Credo Finance” UCO CJSC operating in Yerevan and used as a weapon a gun-like object in order to rob property, threatening to use life-threatening violence, attacking the company’s employees, demanding money, then demanding to open the safe, from which he personally stole large amounts of the company’s property, according to preliminary data, 2,730,990 AMD and fled.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Investigation Division of the Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District of the Investigation Department of the RA Investigation Committee in accordance with Article 175, Part 2, Items 2 and 4 of the RA Criminal Code.

During the preliminary investigation, other necessary investigative and judicial actions were carried out, such as the inspection of the scene, a number of persons were interrogated, and a forensic genetic examination was appointed to find out the circumstances of the criminal case.

The investigation is still going on. Measures are taken to find out all the circumstances of the case, the identity of the alleged perpetrator, to find him and to present him to the body conducting the proceedings. An instruction was given to the investigative body.

Note: The person suspected or accused of the alleged crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court judgment lawfully entered into force as prescribed by the Code of Criminal Procedure.
