Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Romanos Petrosyan clarified at a briefing with journalists whether there will be a “staff purge ” in the Ministry of Environment against those who supported another political force in the elections.
“There are children of prominent ARF members in our ministry, relatives of PAP representatives, who work, do not fail in their responsibilities, naturally will continue their work. We have more than a dozen such employees, they work very well,” he said.
According to the acting minister, no one in their ministry prompted anyone, and did not discuss any issue related to the elections.”
Referring to the standing up when entering the hall of the acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, he said.
“It is very polite to stand up and greet when the number one high-ranking official is entering the hall. I am satisfied with such order and rule. We and the Prime Minister are also people,” Romanos Petrosyan said.
