“I made my choice 33 years ago, and today my attitude has not changed. I voted for a secure, sovereign economically developed Armenia and the Republics of Artsakh. For the sake of a strong Armenian army, for the sake of the inviolability of our borders, for the sake of the reconciliation of our society,” he said.

To the question of the journalist, whether Robert Kocharyan forgave him for handing over power to Nikol Pashinyan, he responded. “Only God can forgive me, no one else.”

Referring to the “Armenia” Alliance’s alarms about election violations, the President said that the police had been instructed to use brute force against them for several days.

“Incomprehensible invitations, invitations of law enforcement bodies, illegal searches, without a court decision, illegal arrests, and so on. I think we will make an interim announcement in the second half of the day, and the main one after the end of the voting,” the Third President of Armenia said.
