The Azeris stationed in some adjacent areas withdrew from the occupied territories as a result of tactical counter-measures by the Armenian armed forces. No case of use of firearms or other weapons has been reported by the Armenian or Azerbaijani armed forces so far. At the same time, about 250 military men of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces continue to be inside the state borders of the Republic of Armenia in some parts of Syunik and Gegharkunik regions.
