On 13 May, in the first half of the day, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ara Ayvazyan had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. The interlocutors continued the discussions on the steps to be taken to ease the situation on the RA state border due to the actions of the Azerbaijani side.

Acting Minister Ara Ayvazyan stressed the inadmissibility of any provocation provoked by the Azerbaijani side and thus encroaching on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia exchanged views on maintaining regional security and stability.
