The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia officially informs that the information spread through the mass media and social networks about the battles that started and are going on in the territory of Syunik region does not correspond to reality.

Taking into account the public concern over the dissemination of this information, the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia strongly warns against spreading misinformation, causing panic among the population, provoking unnecessary tensions, and informs that such events will have appropriate legal remedies.

The National Security Agency again urges to refrain from spreading unofficial and unverified information and to rely exclusively on official news.
