On 5 May, the President of Armenia signed a package of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Armenia, amendments to the Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, and the law amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia.
On 6 May, the President of the Republic applied to the Constitutional Court to decide on the compatibility of the laws related to the Constitution adopted by the National Assembly with the Law on Making Amendments to the Constitutional Law “Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia” submitted to the President of the Republic on 16 April, 2021.
