The search for the remains of volunteers or civilians who died during the hostilities or are still missing continues today with a rescue squad in the Varanda (Fizuli) region.

From 13 November, 2020 until today, the rescuers of Artsakh found and evacuated 1552 bodies from the territories under the control of Azerbaijan.
During the search, the bodies were exchanged between the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides from time to time.
