In the evening on 25 April, the Azeris advanced 370 meters from their position in the administrative area of the village of Nor Ghazanchi in the Martakert region.
The head of Martakert district administration Hayk Bakhshiyan stated this in a conversation with “Artsakhpress” correspondent. According to him, learning about the reality and informing the country’s leadership, he personally participated in the talks.
“We have negotiated over the issue with the officers of the Armenian Armed Forces, the Azeris, the Russian peacekeepers stationed in the village of Nor Ghazanchi. The enemy argues that these are their historical lands, to which we replied that these territories are Armenian historical lands. With the intervention of the leadership, as a result of the talks, the Azeris withdrew their positions this morning. By the way, it is due to me mention that such an unsuccessful case was registered in January as well. The villagers noticed it while cultivating the land,” Hayk Bakhshiyan said.
