On 12 April, 2012, at around 10:30 pm, on Arshakunyats Avenue in front of the “Yerevan Mall” shopping center. a resident of Armavir region, in his personal “Mercedes” car, ran over a resident of Yerevan, born in 1993, causing death. The Investigative Committee reported.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Traffic Crimes Investigation Division of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the RA Investigation Committee under Article 242, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code (Breach of traffic rules and operation of means of transportation).
A forensic examination of the body was set; the 27-year-old man was recognized as a victim. A signature not to leave was chosen as a measure of restraint against the resident of Armavir region.
The investigation is underway.
