Today, the Government appointed Hayk Ghalumyan governor of Tavush.

It should be reminded that on 12 September, 2019, Ghalumyan was appointed acting head of Ijежan city community of Tavush region, of the RA.

Ghalumyan was born on 10 April, 1974, in the city of Ijevan, in the family of a clerk.

He graduated from Ijevan Secondary School No. 1.

1991-1995 – graduated from the Faculty of World Economics of Yerevan State University of Foreign Economic Relations and received the qualification of an economist-internationalist.

In 1995-2001 – worked as an economist at the “Ijevan Population Service” institution.

2002-2005 – Economist in the “Ijevan” branch of “Armenian Water and Sewerage Company” CJSC.

2005-2007 – Leading specialist in the Tavush Regional Center of the RA State Labor Inspectorate of the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

2007-2008 – Credit specialist in “Metax” branch of “Armeconombank” OJSC.

In 2008-2010 – “Ijevan” branch of “Armeconombank” OJSC, as a deputy manager, head of the loan-deposit department.
