“I attach great importance to the teachers’ qualification process, which is entering a practical phase, which means that we will introduce a new and important factor in the general education system. With this factor, we constantly give teachers a very specific incentive to improve their skills. Because the leveling approach deprived the talented people of the motivation to improve themselves, to move forward. As a result of this process, we can guarantee that we will have only highly qualified teachers in the school, who, by the way, will have the opportunity to constantly increase their salaries by raising their own qualifications. That is, they, and not the government, will increase their salaries. From November of this year, 1,500 teachers will receive at least 30-50% higher salaries,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
