At the beginning of the special sitting of the National Assembly, the parliament observed a minute of silence in memory of the hero of the Artsakh Republic, Major General of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan, who died on 31 March.

The “My Step” faction, which initiated the sitting, proposed to organize the first and second readings of the issue on making changes and amendments to the Constitutional Law Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia within 24 hours.

During her speech on the issue, MP Taguhi Tovmasyan addressed Hovik Aghazaryan, asking him to refute the sensational statement made about Karvachar.

It should be noted that he had previously stated: “Karvachar was not ours. Karvachar was established by our soldiers in the 90s as a defense zone of Artsakh, so that later those lands would be returned and Artsakh would receive status,” he said.
