State Emergency Situations Service of the Artsakh Republic informs:

“As a result of search operations carried out today in the southern part, which is under the control of Azerbaijan, in the regions of Jrakan (Jabrail) and Varanda (Fizuli), the rescuers of Artsakh found and evacuated the bodies of 5 servicemen.

Since the ceasefire, on 13 November, 2020, the total number of remains found in the occupied territories of Artsakh or transferred to Armenian by the Azerbaijani side, is 1523, of which 25 are civilians, according to preliminary data, the rest are servicemen, volunteers or reservists killed during the war.

The State Emergency Situations Service will continue the search in the coming days, from now on, if necessary.”
