The leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” party Gagik Tsarukyan made a statement, which says,

“A few days ago, I stated that in order to get our homeland out of the current difficult situation, a new government, must be formed in the country as soon as possible. The only legitimate way to do that is through extraordinary parliamentary elections. The people must decide by their vote whom the power will be entrusted.

Extraordinary parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia on 20 June.

As we have already informed, the meeting of the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with the leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” faction Gagik Tsarukyan took place today.

“During the meeting we stated that the best way out of the current internal political situation is the early parliamentary elections.

“Taking into account my discussions with the President of the Republic of Armenia, the “My Step” faction, the leader of the “Bright Armenia” faction Edmon Marukyan, early parliamentary elections will be held in the Republic of Armenia on 20 June,” Nikol Pashinyan noted.
