On 18 March, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the head of the NA “Prosperous Armenia” faction Gagik Tsarukyan.
It was noted that the best way out of the current domestic political situation is early parliamentary elections.
“Taking into account the discussions held during the meetings with the President of the Republic of Armenia, members of the “My Step” faction of the RA National Assembly and the head of the “Bright Armenia” faction of the RA NA Edmon Marukyan, the Prime Minister proposed to hold extraordianary parliamentary elections in the Republic of Armenia on 20 June, 2021,” the NA statement reads.
