A decision on the day of the snap elections will be announced today or tomorrow. The Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan said this today, on 18 March, after the government sitting, in a conversation with journalists.

“The fact that in one way or another, despite the refusals voiced by the parliamentary and extra-parliamentary opposition to resolve the political crisis in our country by the early elections, by our assessment the crisis itself will not be resolved,” he said. “We must state that the street struggle of the opposition did not have any significant significance, it was not welcomed by our society. We interpret it with the small number of civil actions that are carried out in the streets,” the minister said.
