The highest tricolor in Armenia – 30 m – will be raised in Shurnukh on 7 March: Goris Community Hall

On  7 March, the 30-meter-high Armenian tricolor will be solemnly raised in Shurnukh. The highest flag in Armenia was first placed in Kapan, now in Shurnukh. Goris Community Hall reported.

“We will continue to create in the border settlements, regardless of everything, we are obliged to protect our home, our culture, our values, our faith.

Dear residents of Goris Community,

On the initiative of Goris Community head Arush Arushanyan, the 30-meter-high Armenian tricolor will be solemnly raised in Shurnukh on 7 March. The highest flag in Armenia was first placed in Kapan, and now in Shurnukh.

Sacrifice will be served, cultural events will be held in the settlement, and all the settlements of the community will be presented with traditional dishes. The start of the events is from 14:00.

On 7 March, from 10:00 am, minibuses will carry out free transportation to Shurnukh from the G.Tatevatsi Square in Goris, and at the end of the events to Goris Community. The initiative will be continuous in all the border settlements of the community.

“The enemy, who are only a few meters away from Shurnukh, must constantly feel that we are joint and united not only with the residents of our border areas, but also that we will continue to improve our settlements,” the statement reads.
