On 14 February of this year, at 01:47 local time (Greenwich Mean Time, on 13 February, at 21:47), the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia registered an earthquake with 40.07 north latitude 44.48 east longitude. According to the geographical coordinates in Armenia, 13 km south-west of the city of Yerevan, at a depth of 10 km, a 2.4 magnitude earthquake. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 3 points.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Yerevan, in a number of settlements of Ararat region with a magnitude of 2-3.
As we have already informed , on 13 February of this year, at 15:29 local time (11:29 GMT), the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia registered an earthquake with 40.11 north latitude 44.54.5 east longitude, 8 km south-east of Yerevan, Armenia, 10 km deep, 4.7 magnitude. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 6-7.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Yerevan with a magnitude of 5-6, in the regions of Aragatsotn, Ararat, Shirak, Armavir, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor with a magnitude of 3-4.
Later, the spokesperson of the RA Ministry of Health Hripsime Khachatryan stated․
“Dear citizens,
The Ministry of Health informs that 3 citizens suffered from the panic caused by the earthquake, who applied to “Erebuni Medical” Center in Yerevan with scratches.
According to experts, there is no danger to the health of the citizens who applied.
The “1-03″ ambulance service has not received any calls about the victims of the earthquake so far.
It should be reminded that the healthcare system has been brought to a high level of readiness.”

Four of the alarms received about the collapses were confirmed․ Yerevan Aivazovsky street (9 sq.m. from the wall of a one-story building, 7 sq.m. from the roof collapsed), Smbat Zoravar street (collapse of 2 sq.m. from the wall of the building), Chekhov street (collapse of 1 sq.m. from the wall of the building) and Komitas avenue (10 tiles fell from the wall of the building).
According to preliminary data, the existence of an injured citizen on Aivazovsky Street has been denied.
