The 5 captives who returned to their homeland from Baku are from a group of 62 servicemen from Shirak region. Boris Avagyan, the representative with special assignments of the President of Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan informed about in a conversation with journalists.

“The names will be published. All five are from the list of 62 from Shirak region, this is the first group out of 62,” Avagyan said, as reported by “Armenpress”, adding that the criminal charges against them in Azerbaijan have complicated the process of returning the servicemen, but the fact that the first group is already in Armenia, means that the process is moving forward.

“I saw the boys, they are normal, their health condition is good, now they are undergoing a medical examination, and after that they will meet with their families,” he said.
