I didn’t even count how many people I shot, 40-50, we were eliminating all from where they were shooting: sniper Artur

Contract soldier, sniper Artur Arushanyan tells about the Artsakh war. He took part in the four-day war when he was a conscript.

“I was the commander of the D-20 cannon during the four-day war, I was in Jabrail. I, who went through a fight, was afraid of this fight, because this fight was not like that fight. No matter how much power they had, how much weapons and equipment they had, everyone was standing on the front line,” Arthur says and adds that one should not be afraid of the enemy, they are people like everyone else, just Turks.

According to the sniper, the enemy was caused a great loss of manpower and military equipment, as a sniper he did not have time to count how many enemies he had hit.

“We hit a lot, 30-40-50, I cannot say a specific number, because I did not count how many people I shot, when I hit, the commander said, well done, he is hit. We destroyed on the spot all from wherever they fired,” he says.

Artur was from Karintak village, he left 3 houses to the enemy․ “Now the Turks live in my village, I did not manage to take anything out, because I was on the front line, my brother was on the front line, my father has disability of the 2nd stage, he was also on the front line,” Artur Arushanyan says.
