During a question-and-answer session with the Government, Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan stated that the statements of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev were contradictory.
According to him, the conflict has entered a new stage; it is necessary to formulate a new agenda.
“The Armenian side is ready to start negotiations in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, to conduct them on the basic principles on which agreements have been reached before. De-occupation is a priority for us, as well as the continuous provision of assistance by international organizations, the preservation of historical monuments,” Ayvazyan said.
The Minister also referred to Aliyev’s visit to occupied Shushi.
It should be reminded that the Azerbaijani authorities have stated that they want to turn Shushi into a Turkish cultural center.
