Former RA Military Prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan, whose candidacy is currently being discussed for the vacant position of a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, met today, on 13 January, with the “My Step” faction of the National Assembly.

During the conversation with the journalists, answering the question that Nikol Pashinyan had announced that you dream of becoming the Prosecutor General, he responded. “Has Nikol Pashinyan said that? I don’t know. I know that Nikol Pashinyan wrote an article while still in prison, where he announced that he had found Gagik Jhangiryan as the candidate for the post of the Prosecutor General of the Republic. I have given my consent to be nominated as a lawyer-member of the SJC. That is my decision.”
