The President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian, who was infected with a new type of coronavirus and was treated at home, was taken to hospital.
The President’s Office reported.
The disease still has a complicated process. President Sarkissian has symptoms typical of that condition, including high fever and bilateral pneumonia.
It should be reminded that the President’s wife Nune Sarkissian is also sick with coronavirus.
Earlier, the President’s Office reported that President Armen Sarkissian celebrated the New Year in London with his family and grandchildren as part of his vacation.
On 3 January, President Sarkissian underwent an operation on leg in London, which was successful.
