“They are engaged in the process of determining the borders, but these people have the right to compensation, haven, they? We must be careful here, because there are issues here, that there must be an obligation of the Azerbaijani authorities to compensate in all issues, because when they carried out mass destruction of our civilian settlements in Artsakh, when they carried out their genocidal acts of genocide, ethnic cleansing, it is clear that it is their responsibility, therefore, we must take measures to bring the issue of these compensations to each of our citizen ingaged in business to court.”
The Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan said this during a press conference today, on 12 January.
He noted that these issues were discussed with the representative of Armenia in the European Court of Human Rights; legal formulations should already be given to these issues.
