The President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page:
“Dear compatriots,
As it was reported yesterday, the Russian Federation has provided 10 million euros to Armenia free of charge to co-finance individual financial assistance measures for the forcibly displaced Artsakhis in Armenia. In addition to the enormous efforts of all Armenians, the governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Artsakh Republic, Russia’s continued humanitarian assistance greatly alleviates many of the priority social issues of our citizens. And once again, on behalf of the Artsakh Armenians, I express my gratitude to the Russian authorities, personally to President Vladimir Putin, for that financial support, for the large-scale humanitarian programs and peacekeeping mission in Artsakh in general.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank all the countries and organizations that have come to help and support us. And I have spoken many times about the unconditional support of the Armenians, expressing my gratitude and pride for our national unification. Artsakh will never forget. May the mighty Blessing of God be with you all, and may the coming year be free of new calamities.”
