The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informs that more than 800 refugees returned from the territory of the Republic of Armenia to Nagorno Karabakh accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.
“825 people were transported by buses from Yerevan to Stepanakert. The buses were accompanied by Russian peacekeepers and military police. Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring and control the ceasefire at 23 checkpoints,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
In total, more than 38,300 refugees have already returned to Nagorno-Karabakh, their permanent residences.
