Today, on 10 December, opposition protesters staged a protest in front of the government building, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. None of the leaders of the rally and 17 party leaders came.
After Andranik Tevanyan’s call, the protesters threw coins in front of the Government. “Since Nikol Pashinyan’s government is based on money, I tell the people who are here today, passing by the Government building, as long as Nikol Pashinyan is here, every time you see him in this building, throw small coins, let them be satisfied,” Tevanyan said.
The citizens were constantly trying to keep the street closed by crossing the pedestrian crossing of Tigran Mets Avenue. The police did not allow it to be carried out. A number of protesters were detained.
