There is no “Afghan”, “Udian”, or any other non-Armenian component in Dadivank, beginning from the architectural design of the buildings to the sculpture, khachkars and frescoes. Apart from about 200 Armenian inscriptions in Dadivank, which refer to the 12th-17th centuries, there is not a single letter in any other language. What Azerbaijan is doing, declaring Dadivank to be Afghan or Udi, bringing there ostensibly udi clergy, as an act of forcible seizure of religious and cultural heritage from its creators, is an obvious cultural genocide.”
