Arman Musinyan, the spokesman of the first President of the Republic of Armenia Leon Ter-Petrosyan, issued a statement, which reads:

“The first President of the Republic of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petosyan, expresses his deep concern over the intensifying struggle for power, which, even without the will of the conflicting parties, could lead to a civil war through accidental violence or provocation. And this will be the end not only of Artsakh, but also of the Armenian statehood. At the same time, the first president hopes that N. Pashinyan and V. Manukyan, fully aware of this danger, will make every effort to avoid such a course of events.”
